ECAL Talent Days

The “ECAL Talents Days” offers a programme for networking between recent ECAL graduates and institutions of all types, as well as an event held once a year.

Since 2020, this initiative has sought to build bridges between academic curriculum and career path for ECAL graduating students, but is also dedicated to professionals of all backgrounds, offering them the opportunity to network and discover the skills of tomorrow's creative talents.

 

2023 Programme

For its 4th consecutive edition, the professional initiative is developing according to the following activity formats and calendar:

  1. COMPANY PRESENTATIONS - February-March
    • Representatives of our professional partners meet with students in their graduation year to present their activities and collaboration opportunities.
  2. TOOL BOX - tools for creative professionals - March-April
    • workshops and conferences extracurricular and transversal to the Bachelor and Master courses offered at the ECAL
  3. DIPLOMA PREVIEW - Wednesday June 28

ECAL/University of Art and Design Lausanne

Enjoying international renown and featuring regularly among the world’s top ten universities of art and design, ECAL is directed by Alexis Georgacopoulos.

The school currently offers six Bachelor programmes (Fine Arts, Cinema, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Media & Interaction Design, Photography), five Master programmes (Fine Arts, Film, Photography, Product Design, Type Design) and two Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Design for Luxury & Craftsmanship and in Design Research for Digital Innovation (with EPFL+ECAL Lab).

ECAL also offers a one-year Foundation Course to prepare students for entrance to the different Bachelor’s programmes.

ECAL Campus

Located in the west of the Lausanne agglomeration, the ECAL is ideally situated in a region in constant evolution. The city of Renens has been positioning itself for many years as a hub of creative and technological innovation.  The ECAL building, a former industrial building redesigned by the architect Bernard Tschumi in 2007, has a surface area of approximately 17,000 m². It has an impressive technical infrastructure and first-class equipment.
